Explore how you can draw from anything that moves you—memories, everyday life, nature, emotion, or the work of others—to spark and shape your own creative path.
Introduction to Visual Storytelling: Learn the fundamentals of visual storytelling, how to create a cohesive photography project, and how to bring meaning to your images
Techniques and Inspirations: Explore different approaches and sources of inspiration to enhance your creative vision.
Mood Through Movement and Light: Learn to use movement and lighting to evoke specific emotions in your work.
Curating Your Project: Master the art of selecting, sequencing, and curating images to build a strong photography portfolio or storytelling project
Five Live Q&A Sessions: Engage in interactive discussions every second Thursday to address questions and deepen your understanding. 7 pm UK time. The sessions are recorded and you can watch them later.
Final Live Wrap-Up Session: Conclude the course by sharing insights and reflecting on your creative evolution.
Private Facebook Group: Connect with fellow participants, share your progress, and engage in discussions throughout the course.

Who should enroll

FAQ
What kind of camera do I need? What else do I need?
You can use any camera in which you can adjust shutter speed, aperture and ISO. You can even use a smartphone. You also need some photo editing software to tidy up your images. For example Photoshop, Photoshop Elements, Lightroom or Affinity Photo.
Can I use a smartphone camera? Which apps can I use?
Yes you can. If you have an iPhone, try apps like SlowShutterCam or SlowShutter. And if you have an Android, try Camera FV-5 App.
Do I need to take some other course first?
No, but you need a basic understanding of how your camera works. You can do the course in any style you are comfortable with. If you are new to ICM, we will cover basic techniques in one lesson of this course.
Are the live sessions recorded?
Yes they are, you can watch them later.
How long do I have access to the course?
